The Cattle on a Thousand Hills (TCOATH) is a non-profit organization established to provide assistance to veterans and reservists who are facing financial hardships due to the extension of peace keeping efforts in the Afghanistan and Iraq wars.
This population is finding a void in services that are intended to help them do the following:
- Eliminate the income gaps that place their mortgages in arrears
- Find temporary housing
- Handle post traumatic stress
- Obtain financial assistance for emergency flights
- Find childcare assistance
TCOATH was created to address these major challenges by:
-
Providing mortgage gap assistance to honorably discharged veterans and reservists who are required to extend their time due to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq
-
Providing temporary housing to veterans and reservists who are homeless due to financial hardships brought on by serving in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq
-
Providing emergency airline tickets to immediate family members and soldiers to meet a loved one returning from Afghanistan or Iraq
-
Providing vouchers to veterans and reservists who need assistance with day or night time care for children using the TCOATH model “Camp Care”
-
Providing vouchers for veterans and reservists who need assistance with post traumatic stress related to conditions due the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq
